PFA

The purpose of the PFA (Parents and Friends Association) is to organise events, primarily so that parents can meet each other socially, but also so that they can work together to make enough money to fund items for the College.

The committee is made up of a small number of very dedicated parents.

In the past, the PFA has raised money for:
The Modern Languages Department (£12,000);
New school minibuses (£12,500);
The installation of a new kitchen at the playing fields (£1,900)
In 2007 the parents raised £20,000 towards the cost of the new changing rooms.

This year, the PFA would like to raise enough to pay for the new grand piano which will be installed in the Academic Hall. This will be a first-class asset, which will be used by the College and Prep for major productions and concerts.

The date of the next PFA meeting is Tuesday 2 December at 7.00pm in the Sixth Form Study Area. We are always ready to welcome new members to the committee and people who would like to volunteer to help.

The Christmas Fair, held at the College, is on Saturday 6th December. More details will follow.
