Former College pupils William and Michael Keane have made their senior debuts for Manchester United in recent months. Michael came on as substitute in a Carling Cup fourth round fixture away at Aldershot on Tuesday 25th October 2011. William had to wait a little longer for his debut but he came on as substitute against Blackburn in the Premier League defeat at Old Trafford on New Year’s Eve.
Mike has since gone on loan for the season to Royal Antwerp in Belgium to continue his development and William has stayed in Manchester to battle for his place in the First team as Manchester United continue their quest to hold onto the Premier League title. Both players played for the College throughout their schooling, with great distinction, helping their teams lift a number of trophies and we wish them continued success in their chosen profession.
