Pupils of all ages and staff worked tremendously hard to put on three wonderful performances of “Guys and Dolls”, the musical based on “The Idyll of Miss Sarah Brown” and “Blood Pressure”, two short stories by Damon Runyan. The cast performed the play, including songs written by Frank Loesser and Jo Swerling with confidence and aplomb, superbly accompanied by the orchestra and band. The performances on Thursday, Friday and Saturday (11th,12th,and 13th) were very well received by full houses.
Special mention must go to Mrs Alderson, Head of Drama and Theatre Studies, for another successful St Bede’s production.
