Here’s your chance to bring your favourite storybook characters to life……and win some amazing prizes. We want you to paint a picture, create a collage or make model for the St Bede’s College *Art of Reading *competition.
It may be a character from the Harry Potter saga in which case you’ll have a good idea of how they look, but if your favourite book hasn’t been made into a film or TV series then this is your chance to show everyone how you THINK they look!
St Bede’s College English and Art Departments are looking for the artists of the future and will be awarding some amazing books and artist materials to all winners. Everyone who enters will be awarded a certificate and other St Bede’s College goodies.
The competition is open to all students between the ages of 4 to 11 and the closing date is Monday, May 24.
Information for teachers
If you want to get involved in the *Art of Reading* a member of staff from the College’s Art or English Departments will be available to come and talk to your children about ideas for this project. *We will collect all artwork from your school*.
