St Bede’s College U14 Hockey Team won the Manchester Catholic Cup in a recent tournament held in December.
The College has an excellent reputation for sport with a number of its students selected to represent their County and some have even been selected to play for the National team.
Nikki McCormick, Head of Girls PE, said, “I would like to congratulate all the team members who participated in the tournament, and the leadership shown by the captain, Rachel Devine, was excellent. This is the second trophy the girls have won for sport this term, having won the Cross Country earlier on in the year. It comes at a very special time for the College, as this year we are celebrating our twenty fifth anniversary of being a co-educational establishment.”
