St Bede’s College requires an Office Assistant to undertake general secretarial duties. The role involves reprographics duties, acting as secretary to the Deputy Heads and administrative support to the Headmaster’s PA.
The hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm term time only.

 St Bede’s College requires an Office Assistant to undertake general secretarial duties. The role involves reprographics duties, acting as secretary to the Deputy Heads and administrative support to the Headmaster’s PA.
This following list is an outline of the role and should not be considered exhaustive. 

  • Reprographics between 8.30am and 12noon daily.
  • In the afternoon the role involves:

(i)         Secretarial duties for the Deputy Heads including audio and copy typing and diary management.

(ii)        Providing assistance to the Headmaster’s PA.

(iii)       General office duties.

The successful candidate will have excellent typing/keyboard ability and possess good inter-personal skills and will be required to assist the Headmaster’s PA during Open Events and on the day of the Entrance Examination in January.  Flexibility is essential as extra working days will be required at busy times of the year.
The hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm term time only with an hour for lunch.
Salary: £14,516 term time only (FTE £17,903).
