BURSAR
Required from January 2011
St Bede’s College is the largest Catholic independent co-educational school in the country with a College roll of 825 and 192 pupils in the adjoining Preparatory School. The schools admit children from all areas of Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Cheshire.
The Governors of St Bede’s invite applications for the post of Bursar, which becomes vacant on the retirement of the current Bursar, Mr Leo Fletcher. The Bursar, as a key member of the schools’ leadership team, is responsible for the finances of the College and Prep School, the management of non-teaching staff, the development programme, property maintenance and all building projects, and is Clerk to the Governors. Candidates for the post should have strong financial and management experience and good communication skills.
The successful applicant is likely to hold a recognised accountancy qualification.

Interviews will be held during the week beginning 5 July.
