Music
Music is offered as an Academic subject to GCSE and AS/A2 level with a new Music Technology A level having been introduced in 2006.
Pupils are offered private tuition on a large number of instruments and Associated Board examinations, both practical and theoretical, take place three times a year.
There are regular concerts and opportunities for performing through Choirs, Instrumental groups, Keyboard Classes and Theory Classes.
The department collaborates closely with the Drama Department to produce Musicals.
The Department has offered pupils the opportunity of taking part in Music Tours, to Barcelona and Venice and most recently to Rome.
